On behalf of the Julian Historical Society I want to thank you for being our special program for the Annual Membership Meeting and Picnic. You not only gave us musical entertainment but a Julian history lesson as well.
Here’s wishing you the very best on luck with your “show”
Thank you again.
Dear Celia,…you have certainly consulted the right source materials. I particularly respect Fetzer as an authority on the region…you have offered an intriguing “first-hand” look at local history. It’s and excellent way to make history accessible to a wide range of audiences. Julian is known to most people for apple pies. Your play is an opportunity to bring the real history to light. I wish you well with it.

Celia,I wanted to thank you for the wonderful performance that you put on for my fourth grade class
during our last field trip. We all enjoyed the singing and dancing. As you know, the California Gold Rush
is part of the 4th grade curriculum. I loved the way that you included information about the Julian Gold Rush
in your play. It certainly enhances what we have learned in the classroom. I would certainly recommend
the play to other teachers.Thank you again for the unexpected entertainment.

Work Hard. Be Nice. Dream Big.
I wanted to take this opportunity to say what a fantastic time we had in Julian. It was the first trip for over 75% of our girl scouts and leaders. What an amazing first impression of Julian. Such friendly people all throughout the town.We all LOVED the readers theater, it made us laugh and sing as well as teach us valuable information about the town in a fun atmosphere. The Gold Mine Tour was memorable indeed, so much information and the excitement of being in a mine the girls will carry with them forever.
The ladies at Apple Pie alley, so gracious and overly generous with our girl scouts. They LOVED making the pies and tarts and what a treat to eat the goodies afterwards. Of course I would be remiss in mentioning our wonderful tour guides. They were fun and full of terrific stories of the old Gold Mining Town days, we had the best time hearing all those stories. Lunch was delicious and plenty full and we so enjoyed eating it outside overlooking the beautiful valley.
You put together a terrific day for us and your vendors were like family. Everyone working together to reach a common goal of success. You all represent Julian as ambassadors and we felt like honored guests in your home.
Thank you so much for everything we had a memorable time.
